Inspiration behind artwork:

This artwork is a representation of community.
Strong communities have always and continue to play a significant role in Indigenous culture.
The circles seen through this piece meeting places or groups of people coming together. I chose to make some of these circles overlap each other to highlight the closeness and layers of a strong community where relationships between groups can overlap each other. The line through the middle of the piece resembles a community that is travelling through life together growing with every journey, which is symbolised by the growing number of people at the 3 meeting places.

My names Mitch Francis, I am a proud Gunditjmara/Bundjalung man.
Over the last couple years I have been running a little art business called #Bunjilart_ and have a strong passion for sharing my culture through art. I am currently living in the Illawarra region of NSW on Dharawal land.
Aside from this I am studying primary education, working at a primary school as an SLSO and currently play football for the North Sydney Bears. " 

About our prints options

OUTDOOR & INDOOR

Beyond their use as beautiful decoration, our art prints will assist with climbing hazards and privacy.  Printed on metal and UV ink they are easy to install using self-tapping screws. Suitable for long term outdoor or indoor use.

BANNER MESH

The image is printed on one side but can still be seen on the other side and air will flow through. Stitched and eyelets for easy attaching using cable ties. They also assist with adding privacy.
